Alwyn Bishop

Alwyn began his racing career in 2014, driving an ex-Ozcar 1986 XF Falcon. Later that year, Alwyn purchased a 1968 Mustang and began racing in the Australian TransAm series. Travelling with the TransAm series to New Zealand, Alwyn completed two rounds at Hampton Downs with the NZ Historic Muscle Cars.

Racing an LJ Torana, VH Commodore, and BA Falcon in the Queensland Touring Car Championship, Alwyn has also completed the Leyburn Sprint three times whilst racing an LJ Torana, Ozzie Race Car and 1937 Ford Special.

In 2019, Alwyn travelled back to New Zealand to race a Mustang with the NZ Historic Muscle Cars at Manfield Circuit and Taupo International Motorsport Park. Returning again in early 2020, Alwyn completed two rounds, this time on the south Island at Timaru International Raceway and Teretonga Park.

In 2020, Alwyn began racing his 1970 Plymouth Duster in the Australian TransAm series that he continues to run today.
