Ian Palmer in the no.20 Firebird continued to keep the pressure on John English in the no.11 Firebird waiting to pounce on the smallest mistake from English but it wasn't to be English faultlessly steering the no.11 home for the 2nd race win of the day.

Chris LaRosa in the no.3 Mustang put the pressure on the no.69 Mustang of Anthony Tenkate capitalising on an uncharacteristic error from Tenkate to take 3rd in the final race of the day.

In the 5 Litre class Ron Prefontaine in the no.21 Mustang was too strong for Sean Evans in the no.4 Mustang Prefontaine taking a clean sweep in the 5 Litre class for the weekend. Evans finishing race 3 5th outright behind Prefontaine with Tricia Chant in the no.35 6th outright
