Round 1 - Lakeside - Friday Practice

It’s great to be back at Lakeside Raceway for the First Round of the Australian TransAM series for 2020.

There was only limited running by the Australian TransAm teams today intermittent showers making the track slippy and lowering the number of cars willing to take to the track. Instead the teams opting to spend the day setting up and checking over the cars ready for a big weekend of racing.

It was a tough day for Alwyn Bishop in the no.42 Plymouth Cuda. A mechanical issue has lead to the right front wheel coming off on the approach to the pits, thankfully Alwyn is disappointed however ok. Sadly it looks like the Cuda is out for the weekend ☹️

Australian TransAm will be on track for Qualifying from 09:30am Saturday and Sunday, head to the track to catch all the action!
