Round 1 - Lakeside - Race 1

Race 1 was a cracker up front Palmer, English and Tenkate battled it out for the lead Ian Palmer in the no.20 Firebird holding them off to take the first race win of the year in the Get Chopped 6 Litre class.

Further back no.3 Chris La Rosa and no.21 Ron Prefontaine ran their races largely on their own Ron taking the Blaze Batteries 5 Litre win ahead of no.66 Gareth Jones and no.35 Tricia Chant.
